The course is a Walter Travis design from the early 1920's. Other landmarks include Ronald Reagan National Airport, Fort McNair, the Naval War College, and the Jefferson Memorial. Most noticeable is the Washington Monument, visible from any location on the course. FootGolfers share the course with regular golfers through out the season.Įast Potomac's Blue Course not only provides golfers with a challenging but fair golf course, but also provides some of Washington's greatest landmarks in the background. Marked with Orange tee Markers and Flags. The White Course also doubles as the new 18-Hole FootGolf Course. The White Course is also "The Family Course" which houses blue and gold tee markers to give everyone, young or old a choice for closer greens. Experienced players can work on their iron play while taking in views of the Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial. An open layout and short par 4's make this course perfect for intermediate golfers who are not quite ready for the Blue Course. The White Course is a nine hole, par 34, executive course. The Red Course is also known as the "Beginner Course" and is a favorite for the experienced golfer to practice pitch and chip shots.
Holes range from 100-200 yards each and provide golfers of any skill level with a good challenge. It's time to work on your short game! East Potomac's Red Course is nine holes of Par 3's.
